Residential: Owl’s Nest Co-Living Common Area, NYC

MFA 1, Spring 2022

This proposed design works in tandem with the Owl’s Nest private apartment. Here, a group of 10-12 residents, ages 60-80 have chosen to age in place in NYC. All residents worked on Broadway behind the scenes designing and sewing costumes for several years. Because of this, the space includes a large laundry room with a dedicated sewing space. This allows residents to continue practicing their passions in a social setting. Other common spaces include a kitchen, a banquette area for intimate meals, a large dining table for group events, a living area with a piano, and several smaller seating areas throughout.

Programs Utilized: AutoCad, Photoshop, Adobe Indesign
