This boutique hotel, located in the heart of old town Montreal, was created as a pilot project for independent director Wes Anderson. The hotel work in collaboration with the local film industry including film schools and festivals. The concept combines the unique, storybook like visual style that can be found in all Wes Anderson movies, with the history Art Deco designs of Montreal. The hotel is meant to feel like a space Wes Anderson would create if he were setting his next movie in Montreal. The space features a restaurant named “The Dining Car”, a cocktail bar, and an theater/event space to be used for film screenings and educational events for local film students.
